DID LAMPARD ROMANCE GET BLEAKLEY THE SACK?

Posted July 10, 2010 By World Cup Wags

So Franky Lampard’s not the most loved person in the footballing world but it turns out he’s got rather important people that dislike him even more…

According to the Daily Star, the BBC have cut short WAG Christine Bleakley’s TV contract after she got together in a relationship with the Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard .  The BBC were furious that she had decided to follow Frank to the World Cup and become a ‘flesh-flashing WAG’ – even though Bleakley has come out saying that she’s no WAG and doesn’t plan on becoming one any time soon..

So what’s wrong with being a ‘flesh-flashing WAG’ and couldn’t the BBC do with a bit of fresh air being pumped into it?  Sadly it seems not as BBC bosses decided it simply was not befitting of a prime-time presenter to be flaunting it around the nightclubs of London with a footballer on her arm – A Chelsea one at that.

“The BBC doesn’t do WAGs.” an insider told the Star, which is a real shame as we heard Abbey Clancy was setting herself up for a stint presenting the 9 0′clock news.

For Chelsea’s Lamps though it’s just another blow to add to the ‘World Cup goal that never was a World Cup goal’ and the fact that thousands of fans still call him ‘Fat Frank’, despite the fact he’s obviously not eating anything anymore.

Cheer up Frank, if Bleakley will stay with you then we’re sure your scoring quite a few goals..  Wink Wink..

Wags left in tears as they return home from the World Cup

Posted June 29, 2010 By World Cup Wags

ENGLAND’S Wags, left in tears on the terraces following Englands exit from the World Cup have returned home.

Former One Show presenter had turned up to cheer on her boyfriend Frank Lampard in the match in South Africa but left with that sinking feeling of a brewing England argument between Fabio, the players and the fans..

Christine joined for the crunch game against Germany by John Terry’s wife Toni Poole and Ellie Darby, girlfriend of defender Matthew Upson but the Wags’ support failed to lift the England players, who crashed out 4-1 to their arch rivals Germany. Similarly, Joe Cole’s wife Carly probably hoped her break could have lasted a little longer than just a few days in the country.

John Terry’s wife Toni, Matthew Upson’s girlfriend Ellie Darby and Glen Johnson’s wife Laura were all seen heading back yesterday.

The WAGs were partially blamed for England’s poor showing at the 2006 World Cup, which led to Capello ‘requesting’ that they stay away from the team during the opening games but there’s sure to be an inquisition as to whether or not the WAGS would have helped the team if they turned up in force.

But, It’s not just the WAGs though with their heads in their hands. Teacher Thomas Jones, from Preston, Lancashire, who left after 80 minutes from watching the game on the big screen in Manchester, said the England players should “hang their heads in shame”.

The 28-year-old added: “They think they are world class players but their performances don’t justify their massive salaries. I am embarrassed to be English today.”

Has Beeb star Christine Bleakley had a boob job?

Posted June 26, 2010 By World Cup Wags

Christine Bleakley landed in South Africa with what looks like a new pair up front..

Bleakly, there to help support the boys and her other half, Frank Lampard, looks to be a much fuller figure up top than the flat chested BBC publicity shots that were taken just months ago.

Christine’s not saying anything though but for fans it’s an eye popping view.

A television source of the One Show was quoted in the Sun saying: “Everyones really stunned to see this incredible change in her. She certainly now has a lot more up top. And thats perfect for TV, you need bags of front when your interviewing celebs every day”.

Even though the Belfast beauty insists she’s not one of the WAGs, it does look like she’s challenging them up front…

The World Cup has truly kicked off and even if England aren’t doing the job they are meant to our World Cup Wags are (as in looking great and excepting HUGE gift bags to turn up at parties).

But, if you are not huge fan of the World Cup, let along Football in general, World Cup Wags has just the thing for you..

We’re not talking about the lads shorts and the latest Adidas football (which is meant to be rubbish), we’re talking about WAG’s fashion and style.

So we’ve searched high and low and have found some of the less expensive alternatives to some outfits worn by Christine Bleakley, Abi Clancy, Alex Curren and of course Victoria and Coleen.

Victoria Beckham – WAG fashion queen Victoria looks super cute in this on-trend black rara skirt.
