Coleen Rooney and Alex Gerrard watching The World Cup from home
Coleen Rooney and the England WAGS are refusing to “here we go” to this summer’s World Cup after England manager Fabio Capello expressed concern over them spending too much time with their men.
Fabio, clearly unimpressed with the “circus of events” at the last finals in Germany (The WAGS shopped and partied while the team failed to capitalise) Capello said they could only see the players a maximum of once a week. Capello was quoted saying “We’re going to South Africa to play, not for a holiday,”. “If they don’t want to come for the day only, they should stay home,”.
Now leading England WAGS, including Coleen Rooney and Alex Gerrard, are doing just that and are looking to boycott the whole tournament and watch from the comfort of their own homes.
Coleen Rooney, who gave birth to Waynes Rooney’s baby Kai in November, said: “Kai and me will be supporting Wayne and the team from home. We wouldn’t see much of Wayne while we’re there because of the ban. It’s what I’d rather do.”
It’s unclear on which WAGS will be gracing South Africa with their presence but World Cup Wags will keep you up to date on all the action right here..
