What WAGs are at the World Cup?

So Fabio Capello bans all the WAGs from turning up to South Africa but who didn’t listen to Fabio and who flew over to take the limelight and give their boys some home comforts on the sly??

The first batch of England WAGs have already landed in South Africa two days ago and things are hotting up in the WAGs corner.

Matthew Upson and Emile Heskey’s girls were the first to hit swanky resort Sun City. But Ellie Darby, 28, and scouse sex bomb Chantelle Tagoe, 26, shunned the six-star Lost Palace to join their families at the Vacation Club.

The Daily Star reported that Ellie Darby, who arrived with her mum and the couple’s one-year-old son Elijah, roared: “Come on England! I think we’re going to do really well in the World Cup. All the family are behind Matthew and the boys and we’ve been really looking forward to it.”

But Ellie was back in Africa for more than just sun, sand and sea after helping out poverty-stricken children in BBC3 documentary WAGs, Kids And World Cup Dreams.

She said of defender Matthew, 31: “Hopefully we’ll get to see him play. I know he’s desperate to represent his country and show what he can do.”

Ellie said: “I definitely plan to go and see our friends at some stage.”

Other football clans staying at the Vacation Club are Aaron Lennon and Peter Crouch’s families, although Crouch’s wonder WAG Abbey Clancy remained in the UK.

Top World Cup WAGs including Victoria Beckham, 36, and Carly Zucker, 26, will fly out later this week to visit the team as they look to progress further through the group stages. Maybe this is what England need to perform, so to speak.

However, sexy scousers Coleen Rooney, 24, Alex Gerrard, 27, and Abbey Clancy will not travel until the semi-final stage after their partners told them they had to listen to Fabio’s requests. What the gaffer says, goes..

The Wags are in the World Cup with more turning up every day.. It’s hotting up in South Africa.
